南京医科大学国际学生(本科)学籍管理条例
第一条 为规范南京医科大学国际学生教育教学管理和国际学生管理,保证学校教育有序进行,实现培养目标和培养要求,依据我国有关法律、法规和教育行政管理部门有关规定,结合本校实际,特制定本条例。
第二条 本条例所称国际学生,是指根据《中华人民共和国国籍法》不具有中国国籍且在南京医科大学接受本科教育的外国学生。本条例适用于已被南京医科大学录取的全日制在校国际学生。
第三条 国际学生应牢记学校“博学至精,明德至善”的校训,努力做到遵纪守法,勤奋学习,团结协作。
第四条 本校国际学生实行学年制。
第二章 入学与注册
第五条 本校新生须持录取通知书及规定的有关证件,按期到校办理入学手续。因故不能如期报到,应及时向学校说明原因,办理请假手续,假期一般不得超过两周。未经请假或超假逾期两周者,取消入学资格。因特殊困难不能按期报到者,可以由本人向学校提出书面申请,经学校审核同意,保留入学资格一年。经批准保留入学资格的国际学生,须在下学年开学前向学校提出复学申请。经学校审核同意后予以注册。未提出复学申请者即失去入学资格。
第六条 在新生入学后三个月内,学校对国际学生提供的资料及信息进行复查,复查合格的,即取得学籍。复查不符合招生条件的,依据情况区别处理,直至取消入学资格。
第七条 新生入学复查时,必须接受体检。如发现患有疾病,经指定医疗单位确诊为短期治疗可以达到健康标准的,可保留入学资格一年,保留入学资格者不具有学籍。保留入学资格的国际学生病愈后申请复学,应于下学年开学前,持本国公立医院证明向国际教育学院培养办公室提出申请,经我校指定的二级甲等以上医疗机构(下同)复查,确已符合体检标准者,方可办理入学手续。经复查不合格或逾期不办理入学手续者,取消入学资格。
第八条 国际学生每学年必须在学校规定的时间内办理保险,否则一律不予注册。
第九条 国际学生每学年必须在学校规定的开学时间到校办理本学年缴费和注册手续。按规定缴费后方可办理注册登记,以取得本学年学习资格。因故不能按期到校注册者,必须事先履行请假手续,请假不能超过两周。凡开学后两周内未注册者,自动丧失学习资格,按自动退学处理。
第三章 成绩考核与记载办法
第十条 国际学生必须按教学计划要求,完成课程学习并参加考核,考核成绩录入国际学生学籍档案。按校际间协议,国际学生在我校认可的其他大学学习教学计划规定课程的成绩,经外校教务管理部门文件证明,可按我校学分规定记入成绩档案。
第十一条 课程考核方法可根据课程的不同特点,采取笔试、口试及实际操作等形式。课程考核成绩的评定采用百分制或五级制(即优、良、中、及格、不及格)。课程最终考核成绩按平时10%,实验成绩20%,理论考试成绩70%的比例综合而成。(仅有理论考试的课程,由教研室自行确定最终考核成绩)
第十二条 国际学生因生病或特殊情况不能按时参加考试者,须由本人于考试前两天写出书面申请(因病必须附学校门诊部负责人的签字证明),经学生工作办公室签署意见后报培养办公室审批,经批准后,方可缓考。缓考者须参加下一学年相同专业的该门课程考试。因突发事件未能参加考试者,应在考试结束后一周内补办缓考手续,逾期未办理者该门课程考试记为旷考。
第十三条 国际学生每学期考核不及格的课程,可参加补考一次,补考合格后成绩以60分计;补考不及格者必须申请重新学习。国际学生已经及格的课程也可以申请重新学习。申请重新学习后按最高实际成绩录入学籍档案。
第十四条 国际学生申请重新学习课程,应于规定时间提出书面申请并缴纳相关费用,并经国际教育学院培养办公室审核批准后方可参加。详细规定见《南京医科大学国际学生重新学习的相关规定》。
第十五条 凡旷考、考试违纪及考试作弊者,该门课程以零分计,必须申请重新学习。对考试违纪或考试作弊者,根据《南京医科大学国际学生考试违纪与作弊处理办法》分别给予相应处理。
第十六条 国际学生实验、见习、实习及其它实践性课程必须考勤,如缺课时数达该门课程实践性教学时数的三分之一(含三分之一)以上,不得参加该门课程的考试,该门课程按不及格处理,应予重新学习。
第四章 课程确定与学年认定
第十七条 国际学生应根据教学计划要求参加必修课程的学习,自由选择选修课程。
第十八条 每一学年,学生必须完成教学大纲规定的教学内容。
第十九条 每学年补考过后,如本学年所学课程有四门课程未能通过,或者入学后累计有七门课程不及格者将被强制留级。
第二十条 对于分学期授课的科目,如果每学期都完成一部分,则每一部分按照一门考试课目来计算。
第二十一条 国际学生进入临床实习前,应修读完大纲规定的课程并通过所有课程的考试,否则不能进入临床实习。详细规定见《南京医科大学国际学生实习管理规定》。
第二十二条 留级的学生将会跟随下一年级的学生学习。
第五章 转学
第二十三条 国际学生可在下列情况下申请转学:
1 国际学生入学后发现有某种特殊疾病或生理缺陷,经学校指定的二级甲等以上医院检查证明,不能在本校学习,但尚能在其他高等学校有关专业学习。
2 国际学生确有特殊困难,经学校研究后认为不转学无法继续学习。
第二十四条 国际学生申请转学,应在每学年开学前按下列办法办理:
由国际学生本人书面申请并提交有关证明材料,经转出与转入学校审核同意后,办理转学手续。
第二十五条 国际学生有下列情形之一,不得转学
1 入学未满一学期。
2 由低学历层次转入高学历层次的。
3 应予退学的。
4 其他无正当理由的。
第二十六条 国际学生有下列情况之一者,应予休学:
1 因病经学校指定医院或校门诊部诊断,一学期必须治疗休养超过6周者。
2 一学期请假累计超过8周者。
3 因特殊情况经本人申请或学校认为必须休学或停学者。
第二十七条 国际学生休学、停学或保留学籍,应由国际学生本人提出申请,报国际教育学院审批。国际学生休学或保留学籍期满不办复学手续者,即取消学籍。
第二十八条 国际学生申请休学或保留学籍每次以一年为限。
第二十九条 国际学生复学按下列规定办理:
1 因病休学的国际学生,申请复学时必须持有本国公立医院诊断证明,经学校指定医疗机构复查合格,国际教育学院核准,方可复学。
2 国际学生休学或保留学籍期满后,应于学年开学前持有关证明及本人证件,向国际教育学院申请复学,经批准同意后进入相应年级学习。
3 国际学生休学或保留学籍期间,如有严重违法乱纪行为者,取消复学资格。
第三十条 保留入学资格、休学或保留学籍的国际学生,不享受在校学生待遇。
第三十一条 国际学生自费去第三国学习,可以保留学籍两年。学生在校期间只允许保留学籍一次。在我校认可的国外大学所学习的我校教学计划规定课程的学分,经国外大学教务管理部门文件证明,可按我校学分规定记入成绩档案。
第三十二条 国际学生休学的有关问题按我校相应规定办理。
第七章 退学
第三十三条 国际学生有下列情况之一者,应予退学:
1 违反中国法律、法规。
2 不论何种原因在校学习时间累计超过其最长学习年限的(四年制本科专业为8年,其余本科专业为9年)。
3 休学或保留学籍、保留入学资格期满不办理复学或入学手续的。
4 未经请假离校连续两周或一学期累计旷课达60学时的。
5 未请假连续两周未参加学校规定的教学活动的。
6 申请复学经复查不合格不准复学的。
7 超过学校规定期限未注册而又无正当事由的。
8 经我校指定医院确诊患有严重疾病或意外伤残无法继续在校学习的。
9未按照学校规定购买保险的。
10 本人要求退学的。
第三十四条 国际学生退学应由本人提出书面申请,由国际教育学院审批。对退学的学生,由学校出具退学决定书并送交国际学生本人。
第三十五条 经批准退学的国际学生,应在一周内办理离校手续。
第三十六条 退学国际学生给予退学证明,学习满一年以上,可发给肄业证书。未经学校批准,擅自离校或逾期不办退学手续的国际学生,不发给退学证明和肄业证书,并注销其学籍。
第三十七条 国际学生对退学处理有异议的,可以提出申诉和申请复查。
第八章 处分
第三十八条 对犯有错误的国际学生,视其情节轻重给予批评教育或按《南京医科大学国际学生违纪处分条例》给予纪律处分,处分分下列五种:
1警告
2 严重警告
3 记过
4留校察看
5 开除学籍。
第三十九条 国际学生要按时参加教学计划规定和学校统一安排的教学活动,不得无故缺课。因重新学习等原因不能上课,须提出书面申请,报国际教育学院培养办公室审批。国际学生学习期间一般不准请事假,遇有特殊情况非由国际学生本人处理不可的,必须事先履行请假手续;病假必须有指定就诊医院证明。请事假、病假一周以内者,由国际学生工作办公室审核批准;一周以上须经国际教育学院院长审核批准。国际学生未经请假或虽经请假未获准假而不到校上课者,以旷课处理,视情节按《南京医科大学国际学生违纪处分条例》给予相应处分。
第四十条 警告、严重警告、记过、留校察看处分一般设置6到12个月处分期限。在处分期内有显著进步,表现良好,可提前解除处分;经教育不改者可视其情节轻重给予延长。毕业班国际学生在毕业时仍处于察看期内的,作结业处理,在处分期满后,经本人申请,相关部门证明确已改正错误,可予换发毕业文凭。开除学籍的国际学生,发给学习证明,不发给学历证明。学生处分期满,未作出延后解除决定的,视为自动解除。
第四十一条 对国际学生的处分,应根据《南京医科大学国际学生违纪处分条例》执行,做到程序正确、证据充分、依据明确、定性准确、处分恰当;对国际学生作出处分决定之前,应当听取国际学生或其代理人的陈述和申辩,允许有异议的国际学生提出申诉和申请复查。
第四十二条 凡涉及国际学生学籍的处分必须报学院备案。凡对扰乱教学秩序国际学生的处分,须报学院统一处理。
第九章 毕业、结业与肄业
第四十三条 国际学生因重新学习、休学、停学或保留学籍,在校学习时间可超过其规定学制时间。但在校学习时间累计不得超过其最长学习年限。
第四十四条 国际学生毕业时应根据培养目标作全面鉴定,着重点应放在综合素质、学习能力、身体健康等方面。
第四十五条 有正式学籍的国际学生,完成教学计划规定的全部课程,准予毕业,发给毕业证书。对条件符合《中华人民共和国学位条例》及我校具体有关规定的毕业生,授予相应学位。
第四十六条 国际学生在毕业实习时不论何科,因故缺席实习达总时间的三分之一以上者不得参加毕业出科考试,必须补足实习时间,待出科考试成绩合格后,发给毕业证书。
第四十七条 凡毕业论文(设计)、毕业实习主要课程以及毕业技能考核不及格的国际学生,可申请延长学习年限和结业证书。但申请延长后的在校总时间不得超过我校规定的最长年限。
第四十八条 国际学生在校学习时间已达到基本学制、并已修读完所有课程,但仍有部分考试未通过,则可以根据国际学生个人意愿,按下列办法办理:
1 在规定的最长学习年限内申请延长学习期限,在校继续学习,但必须缴纳学费。通过所有课程的考试后,予以毕业。对条件符合《中华人民共和国学位条例》及我校具体有关规定的毕业生,授予相应学位。
2 申请结业,由学校发给结业证书。国际学生在结业后两年内可向学校提出申请重新学习,通过所有课程的考试后,由学校换发毕业证书,对条件符合《中华人民共和国学位条例》及我校具体有关规定的毕业生,授予相应学位。
第四十九条 国际学生未能毕业或结业,但学习满一年以上,可发给肄业证书。
第五十条 无学籍的国际学生不发给学历证书。
第十章 学位授予
第五十一条 根据《中华人民共和国学位条例》有关学位授予规定,经校学位评定委员会审定,凡符合《南京医科大学国际学生学士学位授予条例》的我校留学本科毕业生,可授予学士学位。
Regulations on School Record for International Students of NMU
Chapter I General Provisions
Article 1 For the purposes of completing the teaching affairs, implementing the target of cultivating the students to be qualified students, this Administrative Stipulation is enacted on the basis of related laws and regulations, rules of educational administration department and the actual situation of Nanjing Medical University (NMU).
Article 2 This Administrative Stipulation shall be applicable to the students who have enrolled to be full-time international students in NMU.
Article 3 The students must learn by heart as the school motto goes pursue excellence with erudition, and reach perfection with morality, and be outstanding through observing relevant code of conduct and the law, hardworking and cooperation.
Article 4 An Academic Year System for international students is implemented.
Chapter II Enrollment and Registration
Article 5 The students must come to school to register with the Enrollment Notice and some relevant documents before the deadline of registration. Those who fail to get registered should explain to School of International Education (SIE), and ask for leave from SIE. In principle leave should be no more than 2 weeks. The student who does not register or ask for leave overstepping two weeks after the deadline of registration, he/she will be cancelled the qualification of enrollment. The student who could not register on time due to some special difficulties, he/she can ask for suspension of study with a written report, and the duration of suspension will be one year if it is admitted. The student who asks for suspension of study, he/she must apply for resumption of study before the first semester of the coming academic year, or he/she will be cancelled the qualification of enrollment.
Article 6 The student will get the status of student in NMU if he/she passes the information re-checked within 3 months after his/her enrollment. If not, he/she will be cancelled the qualification of studying in NMU.
Article 7 The student must take physical examination during information re-checked. If the student who is diagnosed in physical examination as having illness, and he/she is diagnosed by the designed hospital of NMU as being possible to meet the health requirements in short period of time can ask for one-year suspension of study without enrollment status. During the qualification retaining period, if the student is fully recovered, he/she can apply to the Office of Teaching Affairs for re-admission with certificates by his/her national public hospital before the first semester of the coming academic year. The student can register if he/she passes physical examination by a Chinese Second Class Grade A hospital designated by NMU and meets the requirements. Those who could not pass the physical exam or overstep the deadline of registration will be cancelled the qualification of enrollment.
Article 8 The student must pay fees for insurance in the first semester of every academic year, or else the student will be cancelled the qualification of enrollment.
Article 9 Tuition fees and other fees for one academic year must be paid, and registration must be made at the beginning of the first semester of each academic year. Registration will be made until after the fees is paid. After that, he/she can get the status of student in NMU. If the student who could not come to school to register must ask for leave, but the duration of leave could not overstep two weeks. Anyone who fails to register 2 weeks after the leave will be regarded as quitting schooling and disqualified from the enrollment.
Article 10 Students must attend all theoretical and practical classes and take part in the theoretical and practical examinations as Teaching Plan requested, and the results of the exams will be written in the Study Record of International Students. According to the interscholastic agreement, NMU admits the exam results of courses that the students have finished in another university and have been proved by the Office of the Teaching Affairs in that university. The results of exams will be transferred to related credits and recorded.
Article 11 Forms of examination contains theoretical exam, practical exam and oral examination according to different courses. Compulsory courses are given results according to the hundred-mark system with 60-mark-pass or 5-rank system (excellent, good, mid, pass, fail). The final result should be combined by the ratio of the practical examination (20%), the theoretical examination (70%) and assessment marks (10%).Teaching and Researching Section has the right to confirm the final result of a course if there is only a theoretical exam)
Article 12 The student who fails to attend the examination of a course on time due to illness or other special difficulties, he/she must apply to the Office of Student Affairs for suspended exam with a written application 2 days before the exam(if he/she is ill , certificates with the managers signature from Clinic of NMU are needed), after the Office of Student Affairs signing a comment on the written application, it will be submitted to the Office of Teaching Affairs, and the application can only be effective after permitted by the Office of Teaching Affairs. The student who applies for the suspended exam must attend the same exam in the next academic year.
Article 13 The student who failed in the final exam, he/she could take the make-up exam in the first week of the next semester, and the mark of the make-up exam would be written in the record as 60 points if the student passed the make-up exam. If the student failed again after the make-up exam, he/she must apply for re-studying the subject. The student who had passed the exam can also apply for re-studying the subject, and the mark of re-studying subject should be regarded as highest actual mark and would be written in the Study Record of International Student.
Article 14 The student who applies for re-studying, he/she must submit the Application Form and pay the fees for re-studying before the deadline. It will be effective after admitted by the School of International Education. More details are contained in <Regulations on Restudy for International Students, NMU >
Article 15 The student who is caught cheating, violating disciplines, absent without permission during examinations will be given a zero mark, and he/she must apply for re-studying the subject. For those who are cheating or violating disciplines during exams will be punished according to <Punishments for Violating Disciplines & Cheating on Exams for International Students, NMU >.
Article 16 The student must attend all experimental classes, practical classes, clinical classes, and internship classes. Anyone whose absence reaches one third of total class hours in any subject, he/she will be canceled the qualification to take the final exam. He/she will fail in the course and must apply for re-studying the subject.
Article 17 The student must complete all compulsory courses according to the teaching plan, but he/she can select the elective courses freely.
Article 18 The student must complete the entire curriculum according to syllabus.
Article 19 The Student must be forced to stay in the same grade if:
1. The students still fail to pass the make-up exams of 4 or more subjects including Chinese Language and Medical Chinese at the end of each academic year.
2. The accumulated number of the subjects including Chinese Language and Medical Chinese in which the students fail reaches 7 from their enrollment.
Article 20 For subjects which have been taught in more than one semester, and if one part is finished each semester, then the single part can be regarded as one subject.
Article 21 The student should complete all courses according to the teaching schedule and passes exams of all subjects before internship. After that, the student has the qualifications to enter the internship. Please read <Regulations for the Internship of NMU>in detail.
Article 22 The student who has failed to go up to next grade must study with the students of corresponding batch .
Article 23 The student can apply for transferring to another school if any of the following situations occurred:
1. The student is found some special diseases or disabled by a Chinese Second Class Grade A hospital designated by NMU, and could not continue to study in NMU but still capable to study in other schools.
2. In principle the student is required to complete all the courses in NMU. If the student, verified by NMU, indeed has special difficulties, he/she will not continue to study until he/she transfers to another school.
Article 24 The procedures of transferring must be finished before the first semester of each academic year according to the followings:
The student must submit a written report and some proofs to School of International Education of NMU, and the transferring can be handled if the documents are admitted by NMU and the school which the student will transfer to.
Article 25 The Student could not apply for transferring if any of the following situations occurred:
1. He/She is in the first semester.
2. He/she transfers from the lower level to higher level.
3. The student who should be ordered to drop out of school.
4. The student who applies without good causes.
Chapter VI Suspension of Studies and Resumption of Studies
Article 26 The student should suspend his/her study if any of the following situations occurred:
1. The student who is diagnosed by the appointed hospital or Clinic of NMU due to illness needs a long time rest which more than 6 weeks in one semester, he/she should suspend schooling.
2. The accumulated leave overrun 8 weeks in one semester.
3. The student applies for suspension of study due to special difficulties or the student is ordered to quit schooling by NMU.
Article 27 The student who applies for suspension of study must submit a written report to School of International Education and study will not be resumed and the status of study will be canceled if the student fails to apply for resumption of study before the deadline.
Article 28 The duration of suspension of study is usually limited one year.
Article 29 The procedures of resumption of studies are as follows,
1. When student who suspend schooling due to physical illness apply for resuming study, he/she should provide diagnosed certificates by their national public hospitals and be confirmed by the designed hospital of NMU . The student can resume study until after the result is approved by SIE.
2. If the student suspends his/her study, specific certificates and personal proofs must be submitted to School of International Education some time ahead of resumption of study. After receiving permission, the student can join the corresponding batch to study.
3. The student will be canceled the status of student if he/she violates the laws or other relevant regulations during the suspension of study.
Article 30 The student who is during the suspension of study will not be regarded as the student in NMU.
Article 31 NMU will keep the status of student for 2 years if the student studies in the third country at his/her own expense. The status of student can only be kept once. NMU will admit credits of courses which the student has completed and are contained in syllabus of NMU. Credits are recorded if there are certificates which are approved by Office of Teaching Affairs of overseas university.
Article 32 The procedures of suspension of study will be carried out according to other relevant regulations.
Chapter VII Termination of Studies
Article 33 The student should drop out of the university if any of the following situations occurred:
1. Breaking the laws and regulations of Peoples Republic of China.
2. Overrunning the longest duration of study in school (For 4-years undergraduate programs is 8 years, and for other undergraduate programs is 9 years.) due to any reasons.
3. Do not go through resumption formalities when the suspension time is expired.
4. Being absent for school for 2 weeks without asking for leave or truancies in each semester add up to 60 class hours.
5. Have not attend teaching activities for 2 weeks continuously without permission.
6. Failing to pass health re-examination on resumption of studies.
7. Failing to register before the deadline of registration without any reasons.
8. Serious diseases are diagnosed by appointed hospital of NMU or causing severe disability accidentally that cannot complete studies.
9. The student who voluntarily applies to quit school.
Article 34 The case of quitting schooling will be approved by School of International Education and decided by Nanjing Medical University Presidents Meeting Finally. NMU will deliver a Quitting schooling Decision by NMU to the student and submit a copy to Office of Education of Jiangsu Province.
Article 35 The procedures of dropping out of school must be carried out within one week after the decision is made.
Article 36 The student will receive a certificate of quitting schooling, and will receive a certificate of studying in NMU if he/she has been studied in NMU for more than one year. But the student will receive nothing and will be canceled the status of student in NMU if he/she leaves school without any permission or does not resume until the deadline of resumption.
Article 37 The student who has any questions about the regulation of quitting school can lodge a complaint or ask for rechecking.
Chapter VIII Penalties
Article 38 If the student violates relevant rules of NMU, he/she will be punished according to <Disciplinary Punishments against International Students of NMU>. The types of the punishment are as follows:
1. Warning.
2. Serious Warning.
3. Demerit mark on record.
4. Under observation.
5. Be expelled from NMU.
Article 39 The student must attend all courses according to the teaching plan on time. Being absent without any reasons is not permitted. If the student cannot attend classes due to resumption of studies, he/she should submit a written report to the Office of Teaching Affairs to be approved. The student must ask for leave with a written report if he/she has urgent business, and if the student asks for sick leave, he/she must submit a written report and a medical record by appointed hospital of NMU. If the duration of leaving is within one week, the student submits the mentioned materials to Office of Students Affairs of SIE and granted by the office. And if the duration of leaving overruns one week, the student submit the mentioned materials to the Office of Student Affairs and granted by the dean of SIE. If not, he/she will be regard as truant and will be punished according to <Disciplinary Punishments against International Students of NMU>.
Article 40 The time limit of punishment of Warning, Serious Warning, Demerit mark on record, Under observation is from 6 to 12 months. If the student makes great progresses in his/her period of punishment, the NMU will take into account of relieving the punishment, if not, the NMU will extend the period of punishment. The student will not receive the diploma if he/she is during the period of observation, and the student cannot apply for diploma until the period of observation is expired. The student who is expelled from NMU will not receive the diploma but a study certificate. When it comes to the end of punishment time limit, the punishment will be lifted if there is no further extending decisions.
Article 41 The procedures of penalties will be carried out strictly according to <Disciplinary Punishments against International Students of NMU>. Before punishment a description and self-justification from the student or his/her agent are requested, and the student who has any questions about the regulation of penalties can lodge a complaint or ask for rechecking.
Article 42 Any penalties will be written in record of School of International Education if relate to enrollment status. Any penalties will be submitted to SIE if relate to violating teaching rules.
Chapter IX Graduation, completion of program and studying in school
Article 43 The study duration of the international student can overrun the limited length of schooling because of re-studying, suspension of studies or preserving status. But the duration cannot overrun the longest duration of study in school.
Article 44 The student should be judged comprehensive based on training objectives, especially on overall quality, learning ability, and physical health.
Article 45 The student who has student status and has completed the full courses of the teaching plan, can graduate from NMU and be awarded the diploma certificate. And the graduate who reaches the qualification established by the degree rule of Peoples Republic of China and the stipulation of NMU can be awarded corresponding degree.
Article 46 The student who is absent from the internship more than one third of the total internship plan will not be allowed to attend the graduate examination. After complementing the absent internship and passing the exam, the student can be awarded diploma certification.
Article 47 The student who failed the graduate thesis (project), the main courses of graduate practice and graduate skill exam can apply for prolonging the study period and also can be awarded certificate of completion. The total learning period applying for cannot overrun the longest duration of study.
Article 48 The student who studies in school reaches the basic length of schooling and has completed the provided curriculum, but fails to pass some exams can be transacted according to the following methods based on the students personal wish:
1. The student can apply for prolonging the learning period within the limited longest learning period and continue his/her study in NMU, but the student must pay the tuition fee. After completing all courses, the student can be allowed to graduate. And the student who reaches the quality of the degree rule of Peoples Republic of China and the related stipulations of our university can be awarded the corresponding degree.
2. Apply for completing the study and be conferred certification of completion by the university. The student who is conferred certification of completion can apply for re-studying the failed courses within one year after graduation. The certification of completion can be replaced by diploma certification after completing all courses. But the student cannot be awarded degree certification.
Article 49 The student who cannot graduate or complete the study but has been studied in the university for more than one year can be conferred certification of studying in school.
Article 50 The student who doesn’t have the status as a student will not be awarded any certification.
Chapter 12 Degree award
Article 51 According to <the Degree Rule of Peoples Republic of China > and regulations of Academic Evaluation Committee of NMU, the qualified international students will be awarded the degree if they reach the qualifications established by Regulations of Awarding Bachelors Degrees to International Students at Nanjing Medical University (NMU).
